Silksong Timeline

Following the release date announcement, the original Hollow Knight's player count on Steam surged to a new all-time high. Several indie games announced they were delaying their releases to avoid launching alongside Silksong.

After a long absence, Silksong reappeared at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase with a new trailer. It was also confirmed that the game would be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.

EDGE Magazine published an exclusive feature on Silksong, revealing new game details, enemies, and mechanics. This was a significant information update after a long period of silence.

During the Nintendo Treehouse Live event at E3, official gameplay of Silksong was showcased, providing a deeper look at the gameplay mechanics. A playable demo was also available at the event.

Team Cherry officially announced the sequel to Hollow Knight, 'Silksong,' and released its first trailer. Originally planned as a DLC for Hollow Knight, it evolved into a full-fledged sequel.
